What is field hockey?
Field hockey is one of the oldest and most widely spread ball sports in the world. It has been part of the Olympics since 1928 and arrived in Finland in the early 1950s.
In a field hockey match, two teams, each with 11 players, compete against each other. The objective is to control the ball with the field hockey stick and score goals in the opposing team’s goal. A match consists of four 15-minute periods. For more information about the rules of the field hockey, please visit the Finnish Hockey Association website.
Seinäjoki United organizes field hockey presentations for clubs, associations, schools and companies. If you are interested in the demonstration, book it for free below!
